Don't know anyhting about this guy except he was in a band called The Weeds in 1986. They released just one single, disbanding before it was even released.

Thanks for this! I remember being obsessed with 'All Alone' when I heard it, but was unable to find it anywhere - I have a feeling it was released as a single, but I could be wrong.
The Weeds' only single 'China Doll' was bloody marvellous too! IIRC, this Peel session was supposed to be the Weeds, not Berry solo, but they all fell out, apparently.
I think Andrew was some kind of Manchester face and celebrity hairdresser.
yeah, he was the Hacienda hairdresser, 'Swing'. He also used the name Swing musically, he gigged under in at least, that would have been a bit later in the 80s than this, but not as late as his solo single 'Unsatisfied' which I remember buying mainly out of curiosity because it was the first non-Fall release on the Cog Sinister label.
