In 10 days time I will be going to Glastonbury Festival, not really sure why, the line up is nothing to write home about, it is too big and too fucking expensive but have been going since '86 so think it is more of a habit thing.
But been thinking that I may knock this blog on the head, not totally sure yet but have given myself the deadline of Glastonbury to decide. So this may be the last week or so.

this is the best music blog I have ever known, thank you very much for all you did for us.
I agree - it would be a shame if you ended this great blog. I look forward to the reviews as well as the mix of music. Let Glastonbury rejuvinate you!
Please stick around too many great blogs are going away. Your blog is one that needs to stay.
I have been enthralled by your wonderfully eclectic selections and your comments since I discovered your blog a few months ago. Please, please, please keep it going.
This really IS the best blog I have ever come across. Have found many superb albums here since I found it.
It is rare to find a blog where you can put trust into every album posted and know you will dig it.
Would be such a shame if you gave it up...
I am still very thankful for the times that have been though... thanks a bunch.
It would indeed be a shame if you packed it in.
Glasto bad line-up? Alela Diane, Broken Family Band, Marl Olson & Gary Louris and the Boss will rock. I'm sure you'll find plenty to enjoy.
sad news. have been relying on your regular peel session uploads.
Like everyone else, I have enjoyed this blog more than any other - I check daily and often take your suggestions.
Enjoy Bruce and I hope you decide to stick around. Stay dry out in a field in Wiltshire.
Would be a pity to see you go. Maybe keep on with the blog, but only post a few days a week. I've noticed you post every day, so maybe this would help with the burnout. Be well.
I agree with everything said above. Your blog is one that I look forward to, and read every day. It would be a sad day if it were to go away.
Thanks for all the good work.
I second everyone above.
Hope you'll enjoy Glasto.
I love your blog. Great mix of music. I check every day.
I can see how the very act of going to Glastonbury would be enough to make you consider giving up your blog. It's a wearisome business that festival, a celebration of going through the motions, which is the opposite of your blog, and yet, and yet... You do a good job, and while not wanting to give it all the "oh please don't quit" shit, for selfish reasons I'd encourage you to continue. On other hand, imagine all those extra hours you'd have in your life... Follow your heart, my friend; from your writings here, I believe you have a good one. -- Murf
Much of today's music reviews reads as overwrought, if not twattish, nonsense (unfortunately mirroring the music being reviewed). Your blog is a rather pleasant alternative.
Thank you,

Top Blog mate...despite being a Notts County Fan!!!
Really enjoy listening to stuff I've not heard before...keep it up.
don't know you, yet i love you - stumbled on your blog a few months ago by accident (there are no accidents - love your music - love your attitude - i don't fucking care how much your house is worth (it's now worth a lot less than it was here in America) - "viva la laborers" - don't give up the blog - eh, go ahead, get the fuck out of here!

I've been a regular visitor since the start - you've posted some gems. If one more person has got into something like the Immortal Lee County Killers, Junior Kimbrough or the Albert King through your blog than would have normally...then its been worth it

Well Mr. Palmer,
I can only say that you have a great blog, but if now's the time to set it free, then so be it. If it is is true love then it will return. for the record... I am hoping it is true love and you guys just need a little time apart.
Getting that out of the way...
please don't go. ;)
PS. Do you see how many folks are sad to hear that you're going? The best bit is that you haven't even stated that you were definitely shutting down yet. Heh heh...
keith don't go!
I know it must be time consuming for you, but it's also a labor of love. I have discovered so much from your blog. Thank you! I check your blog daily when I can. Your blog is my favorite. I hope you continue.
I've found some old stuff and plenty of new stuff to try out, thanks.
From a selfish point of view don't stop.
But I know how time consuming these things are.
Thanks again though.
Sir Charlie, Here's hoping you stick around cause lord knows you've shown us insight and music that we may have never known. Thanks a bunch for all your hard work on your blog and hoping we continue to enjoy browsing around here everyday. Thank you, "Q"
